Our place, M/S D. H. Jaiswal & Co., is located at 129, Belilious Road in Tikiapara. If you know this area, you know it’s famous for all the small shops and workshops squeezed together. It’s very narrow and always full of carts and people moving goods. We’ve been in this building for many years. The walls are a bit old and the floors are uneven, but it works for us. We deal with various industrial parts and supplies. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and counting stock. The noise from the street never really stops until late at night. We know the other shop owners on the block, and we often share tea in the afternoons. It’s a tight-knit community here. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our business is done over the counter or through long-time contacts. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to work by the light from the door, but we’re used to it. It’s just how things are on Belilious Road. We keep our records in big notebooks and try to stay on top of things. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing business, but it’s served us well so far. Tikiapara is a place that never sleeps, and Belilious Road is the heart of it. We’ve seen many businesses come and go, but we’ve managed to stay put at number 129 for a long time.
