S. K. Trading Co.

S. K. Trading Co. is located at 235/30 Bellious Road. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know how crazy it gets. Bellious Road is packed from morning until night with every kind of vehicle and person you can imagine. Our shop is just one of many, tucked into the row of buildings along the street. We do a lot of trading in industrial parts and hardware. The shop floor is usually a bit of a mess with crates and boxes piled up everywhere. We don't have any fancy assistants in suits or anything like that. It’s just us in our work clothes, dealing with customers who are usually in a hurry. The noise from the street never stops, so you have to shout sometimes to be heard over the trucks and the rickshaws. We have a small back room where we keep the more expensive stuff, but mostly everything is right there in the front. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out receipts by hand. It’s a very old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We’ve seen many shops come and go on Bellious Road, but we’ve managed to stay right here. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We know the local porters and the other traders around us, and that makes the long days go by a bit faster. There is always someone dropping in for a chat or tea.
