Kumar Manufacturing Co.

We are located over at K-70 in the Howrah Industrial Estate. If you know the area near the P.O. Baltikuri, you know it gets pretty busy with all the trucks coming and going at all hours. Kumar Manufacturing Co. has been operating from this spot for quite a while now. The building shows its age a bit, but it does the job we need it to do. Most days start really early before the sun gets too hot over the estate. You can hear the machines starting up one by one all down the road. Inside our place, it’s mostly just the sound of daily work and metal. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Just some metal desks, a few old ceiling fans that hum all day long, and the shop floor where everything happens. Sometimes the rain hits the corrugated roof so loud we have to shout just to hear each other speak. The tea stall around the corner is where most of the guys head during the afternoon break. It’s a very simple setup here at K-70. We just focus on getting the manufacturing tasks done and keeping the orders moving. Local people know us in Baltikuri because we’ve been part of the landscape for so long. It’s definitely not a quiet place, especially when the big deliveries arrive and the forklifts start buzzing around. We handle all the paperwork in the small office upstairs. It is a lot of manual work.
