Khadarghat Aqua Projects

Khadarghat Aqua Projects is based out in the village of Ranmahal, which some people call Bagangora. It’s a bit out of the way, near Gharbalia and Jagat Ballavpurpur. You have to travel down some smaller roads to reach us. It’s a very rural setting, which is perfect for the kind of work we do with water. There are fields all around and it’s usually quiet, except for the sound of the pumps. Our main building is simple, just something we put up to keep the gear dry. We don't have a paved parking lot or a fancy entrance. You just pull up by the side. Most of our days are spent outdoors checking on the different projects. The village life is slow, but we stay busy enough. Sometimes it’s hard for people to find the exact spot in Ranmahal if they aren't from around here. We usually tell them to look for the post office at Gharbalia first. It’s a family-run sort of feel here. We’ve known everyone in the area for years. Khadarghat Aqua Projects is just our way of working with the land and the water. It’s not a big city business with polished floors. We often have mud on our boots. That’s just part of the job when you’re based in a place like this. We like the fresh air and the open space.
