Impact International

Out in Abhoynagar village, things are a lot quieter than the city. Impact International is based right here, and it feels like a real part of the village. Most of the staff walk or bike to work because they live just a few minutes away. We don’t have a big corporate sign or a gate with a guard. It’s just a building where we get together to get the work done. The air is better out here, although the roads can be a real mess when it rains heavily. We spend a lot of time just talking things through instead of sending emails back and forth. It’s a very manual way of doing things, but it suits the location. Sometimes the cows from the neighbors wander too close to the entrance, which always causes a bit of a laugh. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms with projectors. We just sit around the main table and figure things out. It’s been this way for a long time. People in Abhoynagar know us by name, and we know them. It’s a small community, and we like that our business is right in the middle of it. There’s no pressure to be something we’re not. We just keep the lights on and keep moving forward every day. It’s honest work in a place that feels like home to most of us.
