Umesh Rungta

My name is Umesh Rungta and I work out of 8/1, Hardutt Rai Chamaria Road. It’s a regular office space, nothing too special to look at, but it’s where I spend the majority of my time. I handle a lot of different things throughout the week, mostly talking to people and keeping track of various business matters. The road outside can get a bit noisy with the traffic, but you get used to it after a while. I have a couple of people helping me with the day-to-day tasks because there is always something that needs to be filed or a phone call that needs to be made. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get things done. Sometimes the days feel long, especially when there are a lot of details to sort out, but I prefer staying busy. The neighborhood has changed over the years, but 8/1 has stayed pretty much the same. I try to be straightforward with everyone I deal with. No point in making things more complicated than they need to be. We keep the files organized and try to stay on top of the schedule. If someone comes by, they usually find me at my desk. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s my business and I take it seriously. We just focus on the task at hand and try to finish the day with everything in order.
