Eureka Rubber Industries

Down at 5, Ratan Halder Lane in Liluah, things move at their own pace. Eureka Rubber Industries has been tucked away here for years. The lane is narrow, so getting big deliveries in can be a bit of a headache, but we make it work. Most of the guys here have lived in Liluah their whole lives. We aren't a massive factory with shiny machines; it’s more about the hands-on stuff. You can smell the rubber as soon as you turn the corner onto our street. It’s a dusty place, and the floors are never quite clean no matter how much we sweep. We spend most of our time out back where the actual work happens. The office is just a tiny room with a fan that clicks and a heavy wooden door. People sometimes get lost looking for number 5 because the signs aren't great, but once you find us, it’s hard to forget the place. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or big signs. We just stick to what we know. The tea stall at the end of the lane is where we usually end up talking about the day's problems. It’s just a regular local business trying to get through the week. Sometimes it’s stressful, sometimes it’s quiet. We like being part of the Liluah community, even with all the noise and traffic outside our door.
