Our place is at 16, Sayed Amid Ali Avenue. If you know Balitikuri, you know it can be a busy area. We're over in Chakpara. The sign for J.D SLITTER REWINDERS is up front, though it might need a bit of a wash after the last rain. We build and fix these machines right here. It’s a lot of metal and grease and heavy lifting. Usually, there’s some noise coming from the shop floor when the guys are testing a unit. We don’t have a big reception or anything. You just walk in and someone will probably be there to talk to you. We’ve stayed in this spot because it works for us. Getting materials in and out through the avenue can be a bit tight with the trucks, but we manage. We aren’t a huge corporation, just a team that knows how these rewinders work. Sometimes we stay late when a machine is being stubborn. It’s just part of the job. The coffee in the break room is usually too strong, but it keeps us going. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us. It’s a straightforward setup. We focus on the machines and getting them out to the people who need them. No frills, just the daily work at the shop in Chakpara. We might not be fancy, but we know what we are doing with these machines. It keeps us busy most days of the week.
