INDUSTRIAL (INDIA) ENTERPRISE

We are based out in Baltikuri, right by the Kalitala area. If you know the Bankra Cabar landmark, you’ve probably passed us a dozen times. INDUSTRIAL (INDIA) ENTERPRISE is mostly just a workshop and a storage space. It’s loud around here because of all the other units, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. We deal with a lot of metal and heavy parts. Our hands are usually covered in grease by noon. There’s no air conditioning, just a few big fans that move the hot air around. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us since the beginning. They know the machines better than anyone. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures. We’d rather spend it on keeping the equipment running. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting things and moving crates around. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s dead silent. We take the orders as they come. The floor is concrete and has plenty of cracks, but it holds up fine. We aren't much for talking; we just like to get the job done and go home to our families. Every morning starts with a quick check of the machines. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves. That’s just the way things are done in this part of town. It’s honest work. We’ve been in this specific spot for about fifteen years now and the neighbors are good.
