People stop by to chat as much as they do to buy things. We keep the doors open to let the air circulate. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit muddy, but that is just life in the village. We have been here for a while and we do not plan on changing much. It is a practical business for a practical place. We focus on having what people need so they do not have to travel all the way into the main town. It is a quiet but steady way of living, and we are happy to be settled in Gouripur, helping the neighbors with whatever they need for their projects.
