Our yard is situated on Sankrail Station Road, right near the Birla Math in Sankrail. It is a busy enough spot with the station close by, so there is always some movement. We spend our time making different concrete products out in the yard. It is a messy job with all the water and cement mixing together, but we don't mind it much. The Birla Math is a good landmark, so if you get lost, just look for that and you will find us soon enough. We have a few guys from the neighborhood working with us, pouring the molds and stacking the finished blocks. It’s not a high-tech factory; it’s more about the physical labor and getting the mix right. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, and we have to cover everything up when the rain starts. We don't have a big office or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you’ll just find one of us covered in dust near the mixer. We produce what people need for their local construction projects and keep the stacks ready for pickup. It’s a straightforward business without any of the corporate talk. We just focus on making sure the blocks are solid and ready to be used. The road gets a bit crowded with commuters, but we manage our deliveries around the busy times. It is a local operation through and through. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay for much longer. That is just how it is for us on Station Road.
