Birla Corporation Ltd. is right here on J.N. Mukherjee Road in the Bandhaghat area of Howrah. We’ve been at 186 for a while now. Most days are pretty busy with trucks moving in and out because of the location near the river. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a practical place where we get the work done. You probably know the spot if you live around Howrah 711106. The traffic can get a bit much during peak hours, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We handle the usual cement business things from this site. It’s a lot of paperwork and coordinating with the transport guys. The building itself is older, but it serves the purpose. People around here know us as just another part of the industrial landscape. We aren't trying to be anything special, just keeping things moving every day. Sometimes it’s dusty, sometimes it’s loud, but we are used to the rhythm of Bandhaghat by now. If you are looking for us, look for the gate on the main road. It’s a straightforward setup. We don’t have much in the way of a lobby, mostly just desks and people working on schedules. It’s been this way for years and we just keep going. That’s pretty much the long and short of it for our Howrah branch.
