Ganpati Trader

Ganpati Trader is located at 46/1 on Ramkrishnapur Lane in Shibpur. This is a residential area mostly, so our shop is right in the middle of where people live. We trade in various daily essentials and hardware items that the local people need. The lane is a bit narrow, so big trucks have a hard time getting in, but we manage with smaller deliveries. It’s a family-run thing. My father started it, and now I handle most of the daily chores. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes. Sometimes it’s hard to find things quickly, but we know where everything is eventually. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It's just a plain shop with a counter at the front. Most of our customers are neighbors who have been coming here for years. They stop by for a chat as much as they do for buying things. We try to keep the prices fair since we know everyone around here. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the school nearby lets out. Then the lane gets quite crowded with kids and parents. We stay open until late evening to make sure people can get what they need after work. Being at 46/1 is convenient for us because we live just a few minutes away. It’s just a local trading spot for the Shibpur community, and we like it that way.
