We are located at 40, Ramnabami Tala Lane in Bali. This is where Forging Enterprise operates from. Most mornings, the noise starts early because that is just how forging work goes. You have to get the metal hot and start hammering before the day gets too unbearable. It is a small place, nothing fancy to look at from the outside, but we have the tools we need. We mostly deal with iron and steel parts that people bring in. Sometimes they have a clear idea of what they want, and other times they just show us a broken piece and ask if we can make a new one. The floor is always a bit dusty and there are scraps of metal in the corners, but we know where everything is. Bali is a crowded area, so getting trucks in and out of the lane can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We have been here for a long time now. People in the neighborhood know the sound of our shop. We don’t really do any advertising or anything like that. If someone needs something forged, they usually just hear about us from someone else and show up at the door. We drink a lot of tea and try to get the orders finished so we don't have a huge pile-up on the workbench. It is just regular work for us, day in and day out, making sure things are shaped the right way for the local people who depend on us. That's just about all there is to it.
