My place is situated over in the Uluberia area, specifically near the Lock Gate Para. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren’t from around here, but it’s a good spot once you finally find it. I work out of the space shared with Bharat K Dey. It’s a simple setup, nothing over the top or fancy. Most of the time, I’m busy with the daily grind, just trying to keep things moving along. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main city center, which I really like. You can actually hear yourself think here without all the honking. I’ve been doing this for a while now and I don’t see myself doing anything else. It’s just me mostly, taking care of whatever comes across the desk each morning. I didn't want a big office in some glass skyscraper. This feels more grounded and real to me. People around here know the Lock Gate Para landmark, so they find me easily enough without a map. I don't bother with fancy advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth works just fine for what I do. Sometimes I have to go out for work, so the office isn't always staffed every minute of the day. But usually, if you drop by in the afternoon, I’m around. It’s a humble workspace for a humble line of work. No bells and whistles, just honest effort every day. That’s how I prefer it.
