Sharmas Agency

You’ll find Sharmas Agency up on the first floor of our building in Hoshiarpur, right at the Session Chowk. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you’re there, you can look out the window and see the Green View Park right across the way. We are situated directly above the State Bank of India, so there’s always a lot of activity downstairs with people using the ATM or going into the bank. Being at the chowk means the traffic noise is just a part of our daily life, with horns honking and buses stopping every few minutes. Our office space is pretty simple, with a few desks and some old filing cabinets tucked into the corners. We spend most of our time dealing with whatever agency work comes our way, which usually involves a lot of phone calls and ledger entries. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we stay steady with the work that needs to be finished by the end of the day. Sometimes we take a break and just watch the people walking through the park across the street when things get a bit slow. It’s a good location because it’s so central, making it easy for people to find us after they’ve done their other errands in town. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us here making sure the records are kept straight and the clients are taken care of properly.
