You can find us over on Anandpur Sahib Road in Garhshanker. We’re really close to the Vishkarma Mandir, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find the place for the first time. The office is right there in Hoshiarpur district. We spend a lot of time talking to people about where they need to go and how they’re going to get there. It’s not a complicated setup. We have some chairs for people to sit while we talk and a few desks. It gets pretty loud with the traffic on the road, especially during festival times when the temple is busy. We’ve been around here for quite some time now. Most of our days are spent checking routes or making sure the cars are ready. It’s hard work sometimes, but it’s what we do. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a local travel shop. We see a lot of familiar faces from the neighborhood, and some new ones too. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a minute to breathe. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a bunch of managers or fancy titles. Amar Tour & Travel is just us answering the phones and trying to keep things organized. The weather can get hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going. If you’re heading towards Anandpur Sahib, you’ll likely pass us right on the main stretch. We’re just regular people helping other regular people.
