Our office is located in V P O Semundra, which is part of the Garhshanker area. If you’re driving down Chakguru Road, you can’t really miss us. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the bigger cities, but we stay busy with the local crowd from Hoshiarpur. We handle travel stuff for people around here who want to go elsewhere. Most people in the village know us. It’s a small operation, mostly just sitting at the desks and working through paperwork or answering the phone. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just village life for you. We’ve been at this for a bit now, and people seem to find their way to us even if we aren’t in a big flashy building. We don’t use a lot of fancy technology, just what’s needed to get the job done right. It’s practical work. People come in with their questions about passports or tickets, and we do what we can to help them out. We don’t have any big corporate slogans or anything like that. We just run Rayat Foreign Travels as best as we know how. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets slow, but we manage to keep things moving. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows everyone’s name. If you’re coming from the main part of Tehsil, it’s a bit of a drive, but most people don’t mind the trip to see us.
