Narmada Traders

Narmada Traders is situated in Ward No-25 of Nehruganj, right in the heart of Itarsi. People here usually call it Eitersi, and everyone knows the Nehruganj market area. We are located quite close to the Neelam Building, which is a major landmark for anyone trying to find us. The shop isn't very big, and it’s packed with whatever stock we are moving that week. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned setup with a heavy metal shutter and a small counter where we sit and talk to the customers. Sahell is a quiet enough spot, but being near the main market means there’s always someone passing by on a cycle or a scooter. The walls inside could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on the highest speed. We keep our ledgers by hand mostly, sitting on the stools and watching the street. It gets very hot in the summer, so we have a water cooler tucked in the corner. Most of our regulars are people we’ve known for years from around the ward. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know to come to Nehruganj if they need to see us. It’s a simple life running a trade business in a town like this, and we like the familiarity of the neighborhood.
