Our setup is located in Hoshangabad, right on the 16 No Orange Factory Road. It’s an interesting spot because you can always tell when the orange season is peaking by the smell in the air and the number of trucks on the road. We are situated near Honey Kirana, which is a local landmark for anyone trying to find us for the first time. The work at Basant Agro Tech is mostly about the technical side of farming and supplies. Our building is a large, functional space with high ceilings and plenty of room for equipment. It gets a bit dusty because of all the trucks passing by on the dirt shoulder, but we don't mind much. The staff here are mostly local folks who have been around agriculture their whole lives. We don't spend much time in suits or behind fancy computers. Usually, we are out in the yard or checking on the inventory in the warehouse. The road outside can be a bit bumpy, especially after the rains, but it’s the main way we get everything in and out. Inside, the walls are painted a simple white, and we have a few old calendars hanging up to keep track of the months. It’s a practical place for practical work. We just show up every morning, get the machines ready, and handle the orders as they come in. There is always something to fix or move around here and that keeps us busy.
