Haveri Farmers Producer Company Limited started because a bunch of us locals needed a way to manage our produce better. We are located in the outhouse at Vidhyanagar B Block, door number 1-2959. It’s on the 3rd Cross, 1st Main in Haveri. It’s a small place, honestly. We don't have fancy furniture or a big sign. Mostly, you’ll find some chairs and a lot of registers where we keep track of what everyone is growing. Being in a small town like Haveri means everyone knows each other. When someone has a problem with their crop, they just walk into the outhouse and we talk it over. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full speed. Our main goal is just making sure the farmers here get a fair shake. We deal with seeds, fertilizers, and selling what we grow. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. The paperwork can be a headache sometimes, especially with the government forms. My nephew helps out with the typing since his English is better. We try to keep things simple and avoid making things more complicated than they need to be. If you come by Vidhyanagar, just look for the outhouse near the main road. We’ll probably be there sorting out some delivery or checking the accounts. It's just a regular local business run by regular people who work hard and go home tired.
