Global International School is situated out at 98-51 in Bagur, which is part of the Channarayapatna Taluk. Being out in the taluk means we have a bit more space around us compared to schools in the middle of a big city. The address 98-51 is easy to spot once you get into the Bagur area. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we have a good connection to the local land. The mornings are often cool, and you can see the mist over the fields before the students start arriving. We have a set routine that involves checking the classrooms and making sure the water supply is working fine for the day. Channarayapatna is a broad area, and we get people coming in from various parts of the taluk to reach us here in Bagur. The school building is straightforward with no unnecessary decorations. We focus on the basics like having enough desks and making sure the blackboards are clean. It is a quiet existence for the most part, away from the heavy traffic of the highways. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or dusty winds, but that is just part of living and working in this region. We take pride in just being here every day and keeping the doors open for the community in Bagur. The walk from the main gate to the office is short but nice, especially when the flowers are out.
