Sri Chandrashekara Bharathi International School

Sri Chandrashekara Bharathi International School is out in Maruti Nagar in Arsikere. It is a part of the Hassan district. Even though it has international in the name, it feels very much like a local school when you are actually here. The campus is a bit away from the main noise of the town, which is nice. We have a good amount of space for the students to move around. The buildings are modern enough, but they are already starting to look lived-in. We have classrooms that get a lot of natural light, which helps since the power can be a bit spotty sometimes in this region. The staff comes from all over Hassan, and we usually have lunch together in a small break room. It is a pretty simple environment. We do not have any of those high-tech gadgets you see in city schools, just the basic stuff that works. The kids play out on the fields when the weather is not too hot. We have some trees planted around the edge of the property that are finally starting to grow tall. Most days are just about following the timetable and making sure the kids stay on track. It is a quiet life here in Maruti Nagar. We are not trying to be anything other than a school for the local community. It is a straightforward place with a lot of everyday activity.
