Rishisri Vidyanikethana Academy

Rishisri Vidyanikethana Academy is right here on Keralapura Road in Holenarsipur. We’ve been running this school for a while now, mostly because we saw a need for a decent place for kids around Hassan to study without traveling too far. It gets pretty busy in the mornings with parents dropping off their children. Our classrooms are simple, nothing fancy, but they get the job done. We spend most of our day making sure the kids actually understand their books and don't just memorize things. Sometimes the weather in Holenarsipur gets a bit warm, so we try to keep the rooms airy. It’s a lot of work managing so many different age groups, from the little ones to the older students, but it’s what we do. The teachers here are local folks who know the families. We don’t have some big corporate board making decisions, it's just us trying to run a school that works for the neighborhood. You’ll see us out there during the lunch breaks, making sure nobody is getting into too much trouble on the grounds. Education isn’t always about being perfect, it’s about showing up every day and trying to learn something new. We’ve had many batches pass through these doors now. Some of them come back to visit and tell us what they're doing. It makes the long days feel worth it. If you're passing by Keralapura Road, you can't miss the building. It’s a plain place, but it’s full of life every weekday.
