Topson Hair Saloon

The shop is at 9 No. Puliya on Birla Nagar Road. We are right there at Hazira Chowk in Gwalior. It’s a busy junction. There is always something happening outside. Topson Hair Saloon has been in this spot for quite some time. The building is older, but it serves its purpose. Gwalior can get very dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass. People coming from Birla Nagar Road often stop by. We have a few chairs and they are usually full on the weekends. It’s a typical local hair saloon. We don’t use any big words or have a fancy menu. You just come in and tell us what you need. The lights are bright enough. We have some old posters on the wall that have been there for years. The floor is tiled but shows its age. It’s a place where neighbors meet and talk about the news or the weather. Hazira Chowk is always noisy with horns and people shouting. Inside, it’s just the sound of scissors and the radio playing softly. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s a practical business for practical people. We work hard and go home at night. The puliya is a good landmark for people who aren't from this side of Gwalior. We just keep things running. It’s a simple life on Birla Nagar Road. We see a lot of different people every single day. That is what keeps things interesting for us.
