We are up on the first floor of Rajmani Mall. Our shop is No 1, right there when you come up the stairs. It is on Kailash Talkies Road in the Lashkar area. It is a busy part of Gwalior, especially with the Ram Mandir being so close by. You can hear the sounds of the street even from inside the mall. We have a lot of different people coming in, some younger folks and some older ones too. Being in a mall, it is a bit more modern than a street shop, but we still keep things down to earth. We do hair cutting and styling and all the different things that people ask for these days. The mirrors are big and we keep the lights bright so we can see what we are doing. It is a lot of work keeping everything neat because the mall gets a lot of dust from the road. We spend our day dealing with different hair types and listening to what people want. Sometimes it is a quick trim, other times they want something completely new. We do not use a lot of fancy words for what we do. It is just hair and skin work. We have been in this spot for a while now and we have seen the mall change around us. Lashkar is always moving, and we just move along with it. It is a decent place to work. (248 words)
