Sudarshan Restaurant

We operate out of the Sudarshan Hotel over on Jinsi Road Number 1. Most people in Gwalior know the area as Lashkar City. We are specifically located near the Chhappar Wala Pul in the Sindhey Ki Chaawani neighborhood. It’s a busy little corner of the world. The restaurant is on the ground floor and we serve anyone who walks in, whether they are staying at the hotel or just passing by. Gwalior can get very hot in the summer, so we try to keep the place as cool as we can for the lunch crowd. The decor is pretty basic. We have tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We aren't trying to be a five-star establishment. We just want to make sure people leave with a full stomach. Our cooks have been with us for a long time and they know exactly how to make the local dishes the way people like them. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when the hotel is full, but we do our best to keep up. It’s a local business through and through. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers around Jinsi Road. If you are near the bridge, you can't miss us. It’s just a regular spot for regular people to get a meal without any fuss. We stay open until the dinner rush ends and then we do it again.
