Jain Family Restaurant

Jain Family Restaurant sits on the first floor of Millennium Plaza, right in Shop No 6. We are up the stairs, and being on University Road means we get a lot of students coming by between their classes. It's a busy part of Gwalior, especially with Govindpuri being so close. If you’re looking for us, we are right near Talwakar Gym. Sometimes we see people coming in for a meal right after they finish their workout which is always interesting to see. The plaza itself is usually buzzing with people going to different shops. Our space is mostly just tables and some fans to keep the air moving when it gets humid outside. We try to keep it decent for families who want to sit down and have a quiet meal away from the street noise below. It isn't a huge place, just a few tables really. We do our own cooking and cleaning and usually, it's just a couple of us running the whole show from morning until we close up at night. The big windows look out over the road so you can watch the traffic while you sit. We’ve had some of the same customers coming since we first opened our doors here. It’s just a regular spot for people who live nearby or study at the university. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just the shop number.
