You can find Chatore Family Restaurant at Kulshrestha Market on Sachin Tendulkar Marg. We’re right in front of Jiwaji University Gate Number 3, in the Anupam Nagar Extension. Being near the university means we always have students around, which keeps the atmosphere pretty lively. It’s a family-run business, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter or checking on the tables. Gwalior is a city with a lot of tradition, and we try to keep that feeling in our shop. The building is part of a busy market, so there’s always noise from the street and cars honking. We’ve had this spot for a few years now. It wasn't always easy getting started, especially with so many other places nearby, but we’ve managed to stay busy. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy manager. It’s just us doing the cooking and the cleaning. We buy our vegetables from the local mandi every morning to keep things moving. Sometimes the power goes out, or the water delivery is late, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a practical, everyday kind of place. People come here because they want a simple meal without any grand promises. We’re just happy to serve the neighborhood and the university students who need a break from their studies. It’s honest work and we like it. We hope to stay here for many more years to come.
