Sleek Beauty Parlour

Our little place, Sleek Beauty Parlour, is tucked away in Sudama Puri over in the Morar part of Gwalior. It isn’t a very big shop, but we have enough space for what we need to do. Most mornings, we open up the shutters and start setting up the towels and creams. Morar is a busy area, but our street stays a bit more relaxed than the main roads. We mostly see local ladies who live within walking distance. They come in for simple things like eyebrows or getting their hair oiled and braided. We don't have a big staff, usually just a couple of us working through the day. Sometimes we sit out front when there aren't many customers, just watching the bikes go by. Gwalior can get very dusty, so we are always wiping down the mirrors and the glass shelves. It is hard work to keep everything clean, but we try our best. We have been in Sudama Puri for a good bit of time now, and everyone around here knows where we are. We don't spend money on fancy ads or anything. We just hope that if someone likes their haircut, they might tell their neighbor. That is how things work in this part of town. We are just a regular beauty parlour doing regular work for regular people. There is nothing much more to it than that. We just work and go home.
