You can find Shrusti Restaurant And Caterers over at the New Maharaja Complex in the Deen Dayal Nagar area of Gwalior. We are right there near the Adityad Hotel. Our days usually start pretty early because of the catering side of things. There is a lot of chopping and prep work that needs to happen before the sun is even fully up. The kitchen is always a bit hot and noisy, but that’s just how it goes when you’re cooking for a lot of people. Being near the Chowpatty area means there’s always a bit of life around the complex. We aren’t some high-end dining spot with white tablecloths. We’re just a local restaurant where you can hear the pans clanging from the back. Sometimes the orders get a bit mixed up when it’s really busy, but we just sort it out. Catering for events means we’re often loading up vans and driving across Gwalior. It’s tiring work, especially in the heat. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just know us because we’ve been in Deen Dayal Nagar for a while. We focus on the food and making sure there’s enough for everyone. It’s an honest way to make a living. We just keep the stove going and wait for the next group to come in. It’s a simple, busy life here at the complex. We just keep cooking every single day.
