Sanrise Beauty Parlour

Sanrise Beauty Parlour is located right on University Road in Govindpuri. It’s a busy area here in Gwalior. I started this place because I wanted a small space to work. We do basic things like threading, waxing, and hair cuts. Most of our regulars are students from the nearby university or women living in the houses around here. The shop isn't very big, but we managed to fit a few chairs and a mirror. It can get a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but inside it’s okay. We keep our supplies in plastic boxes under the counter. Nothing fancy. Sometimes I have a girl helping me out when it’s wedding season. We don't really advertise or anything. People just see the sign and walk in. We use the regular brands that everyone knows. I try to keep everything neat, though it’s hard when you’re busy all day. Gwalior gets very hot in the summer, so the fan is always running. We talk about family or local stuff while working. It’s just a normal part of the neighborhood. If you need a quick trim or your eyebrows done, you can find us easily. We are open every day except maybe some holidays. Just a simple place for women to come and get things done. I usually keep some magazines on the table for people who have to wait their turn. It is a straightforward business and I like being my own boss.
