You can find us at 139 Kailash Vihar, which is right by the Gwalior Railway Station. Being so close to the station means we see a lot of people coming and going at all hours of the day. It gets quite hectic when the big trains pull in and everyone is looking for something to eat. Our place is called Ranat Mahal Rajwadi Bhoj, and we focus on the kind of food people around here grew up eating at home. It’s not a fancy restaurant with soft music; it’s more of a place where people come when they are hungry and in a hurry. The station area is always full of noise and dust, but inside we try to keep things as orderly as we can. We’ve got a few tables set up for travelers and locals alike. Sometimes we have to rush because someone has a train to catch in twenty minutes and they need their food fast. It’s a lot of hard work in the kitchen, especially during the afternoon lunch rush. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks to get people in. We just cook what we know and hope people like the taste. The building is an older one in the City Centre area. We’ve had to fix the walls and the ceiling a few times over the years. It’s a plain, honest spot for a meal. Most of the time, it’s just us and the regulars.
