Rajrasoi Restaurant

You can find us on the second floor of The Central Mall. It is right there on Achaleshwar mandir road in the Lashkar area of Gwalior. Being in a mall means there is always a lot of noise and people walking around, especially on the weekends when families come out. We see people coming in after they visit the temple nearby or after they finish their shopping downstairs. The 474001 area stays pretty busy most of the time. We spend a lot of our morning getting the kitchen ready before the mall even opens its doors to the public. It is a bit different being upstairs because you don't see the street directly, but you can hear the city outside if you pay attention. The staff mostly lives around Lashkar, so we all know the neighborhood well. It is a regular job for us, keeping the floors clean and making sure there are enough chairs for everyone who shows up. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so people take the stairs to reach us on the second floor. We don't do anything too complicated, just keep the doors open and serve whoever comes in through the mall entrance. It gets a bit hectic during dinner time when the movie theater nearby lets out, but we manage to get through it every night. We just try to keep the place running and make sure the tables are wiped down for the next group.
