Pinki Hair Salon

Pinki Hair Salon is located right on Hospital Road in Dabra, which means there is never a dull moment outside our window. Since we are in the Gwalior district, the summers get really intense, and the dust from the road tends to find its way inside no matter how much we shut the doors. It’s a pretty busy street with people heading to the hospital or going about their daily business in the 475110 zip code area. Our shop is quite small, just enough room for a couple of chairs and a small area for people to wait. We don’t have any of those modern gadgets or high-end products you find in big cities. It is just scissors, combs, and a steady hand. Most days, we are busy from the moment we pull up the shutters. People in Dabra aren't looking for anything too trendy, they just want a clean cut so they can get back to work. We have a small television in the corner that usually plays the news or some old movies to keep the customers occupied while they wait. The walls have a few cracks here and there, and the paint is peeling a bit near the ceiling, but it doesn't really bother anyone. We focus on the work and making sure every person who sits in the chair gets what they asked for. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way.
