New Heban Hair Saloon

New Heban Hair Saloon is located on Nai Sadak in Gwalior. We are right opposite the Delight Cinema. On days when a big new movie comes out, the whole street is packed with people and motorbikes. It is a very lively and loud spot to be. The shop is not very big at all. We have the name painted on the glass out front, though some of the letters are starting to peel off from the sun. Inside, it is just the basics for a barber. A few chairs, some big mirrors, and a wooden counter with all our tools spread out. I keep the clippers clean and the capes folded up in a pile. Gwalior gets really cold in the winter months and very hot in the summer. We have a small heater we use for the mornings in January. Most of our customers are local men who work in the other shops nearby on Nai Sadak. They come in for a quick trim during their lunch break or after they close up. We do not do anything fancy like styling for big weddings. It is mostly just standard cuts and shaves for the working crowd. The chairs are comfortable enough for a twenty-minute sit. I like to keep the radio on a local station. Sometimes we talk about the movies playing across the street at the cinema. The floor is a bit uneven, so one of the chairs wobbles a little.
