Mughal Darbar Restaurant

Our restaurant, Mughal Darbar, is on the ground floor of the Central Mall on Achleshwar Road. Being in Lashkar means we are right in a busy part of Gwalior, and being near the Achleshwar Mandir brings a lot of different people our way. It’s a bit different being inside a mall compared to a standalone shop, but we try to keep things feeling grounded. The kitchen is where the real action happens, and it stays busy from the time the mall opens until it closes at night. We don’t use any high-tech gadgets for our service; it’s mostly just us keeping track of everything ourselves. The floors are tiled and we’re constantly mopping them because of all the people walking in from the street. It’s a practical space without any unnecessary frills. We have some regular customers who come in every week, and we also see a lot of people who are just visiting the area for the first time. The noise of the mall is always in the background, but we’ve learned to tune it out and focus on the tasks at hand. Our address is 474001, and we’ve been here long enough to feel like part of the neighborhood’s furniture. We don't put on any acts or try to seem bigger than we are. We're just a group of people working together to run a restaurant in the middle of a busy city. It takes a lot of effort every day.
