Mejwan Restaurant

We are located inside Hotel Sunbeam, right in the City Centre area of Gwalior. It’s a good spot because there are always people traveling for work or visiting the city who stay at the hotel. Our restaurant is on Shrimant Madhavrao Schindia Ji Marg, which is a busy road, but inside it stays a bit quieter. We serve the guests staying upstairs and also people who walk in from the street. The kitchen stays open late because travelers often arrive at odd hours and want something to eat before they sleep. It’s not a huge place, but we have enough tables to keep us busy during the dinner rush. The staff and I have a routine where we set the tables and check the supplies every afternoon. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit temperamental or the kitchen gets a little backed up when a big group arrives all at once. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just focus on making the food and keeping the place clean. Being in City Centre means there is always something going on outside, but we just stay focused on what’s happening in our dining room. It’s a steady job, and we’ve gotten to know some of the people who travel to Gwalior frequently. We just try to keep things running smoothly every day and handle the busy shifts as they come.
