Khushbu Hair Cutting Saloon

Our salon is tucked away on Tahasil Road in Dabra, right behind the Nagar Palika building. It's a small spot in this part of Gwalior. The shop is called Khushbu Hair Cutting Saloon. It isn't much to look at from the outside, just a door and a sign. Inside, we have what we need to get the job done. I started this place because I knew how to cut hair and I wanted to work for myself. Now, it's where I spend most of my waking hours. We get people coming in from the nearby government offices and also folks from the surrounding villages who are in town for errands. It's a friendly place. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that move the air around. You can hear the sounds of the town outside, people shouting and horns honking. We just keep our heads down and work. The equipment is older, but I keep the blades sharp. Every evening, I sweep up the hair and lock the door. It's not a complicated life. We don't spend money on advertising. People find us by word of mouth or just by walking past on Tahasil Road. That's how it has always been here in Dabra. We don’t have a lot of space, so people often stand outside and talk while they wait. It’s a good way to stay connected.
