Kankshi Beauty Parlour And Training Centre

I run Kankshi Beauty Parlour and Training Centre here in Morar, Gwalior. The shop is located near Hathikhana Chouraha, so it’s easy to find if you know Banshipura. It is a bit of a dual setup because I do regular parlour work and also teach girls who want to learn the trade. My days are quite long. In the mornings, I usually have students practicing how to hold scissors or apply thread on each other. It gets a bit messy with all the practice materials lying around, but that is how they learn. Later in the day, the regular customers start coming in for their appointments. Gwalior gets very hot, so the cooler is always running full blast. I have been at this location for some years now and the building is familiar to everyone around here. We do everything from simple facials to wedding hair. When a bride comes in, the whole place feels different and busy. I tell my students to watch closely during those times. The training part is important to me because I like seeing these girls start their own small shops later. We aren't a big fancy salon, just a practical place for women to get their work done or learn a skill. The walls have some charts for the students and a few mirrors for the clients. It works for us and we don't feel the need to change much about how we operate daily.
