Evince Beauty Parlour

Lashkar is a busy part of Gwalior, and SDM Road always has something going on. We are located right in front of the gym and quite close to the Achaleshwar Mandir. You can often hear the bells from the temple during the morning and evening prayers. It gives the street a nice feeling even when the traffic is loud. The shop is a simple setup. We spend a lot of time standing on our feet, so we made sure the floor tiles are easy to clean. During the wedding season, it gets very hectic here. Girls from the neighborhood come in early to get ready. The rest of the time, it’s just the usual stuff like eyebrows or a simple hair wash. We have a small sink in the back that sometimes leaks a little if you turn the tap too far. The tea seller from around the corner brings us cups of hot chai twice a day, which is the best part of the afternoon. People who come here aren't looking for a corporate experience. They want to sit down, talk about their families, and leave looking a bit better than when they walked in. It feels more like a living room sometimes than a business. We know which customers like their hair cut short and who is trying to grow it out. It’s just how things are on this side of Gwalior, and we have no plans to change it.
