Venus Stamping

Venus Stamping is run by Subhash Kumar out of House Number 907 in Jyoti Park. We are located in Gali Number 10 in Gurgaon. It’s a local neighborhood and we’ve been here for a good while. The workshop is right in the middle of the residential area, so we try not to be too loud early in the morning. We do metal stamping and other related work. It is a bit of a messy job with the grease and the metal scraps, but we keep a bucket for the waste. The machines are heavy and take up a lot of space in the shop. I started this with just one machine and now we have a couple more. It’s just me and a few guys from the neighborhood working here. We don't have any fancy website or a marketing person. Most people just come by the house or call Subhash directly if they need something stamped. The lane outside is narrow, so if a truck comes to drop off materials, everything else has to stop. It’s a bit chaotic sometimes, but we make it work. We usually have a lunch break all together under the tree outside. It’s a simple life and the business pays the bills. We don't try to be anything we're not. We just do the stamping work as well as we can and make sure the count is right before the customer picks up their parts.
