Sr Engineer

You can find us over at Kegg Farm in Khandsa, right near the N. H. -8 here in Gurgaon. It’s a busy area because of the highway, so there’s always a lot of noise and movement outside. Our office for Sr Engineer is tucked away from the main road a bit, but you can still hear the trucks going by at all hours. It’s a practical location for us since it’s easy to get to different parts of the city from here. The workspace itself is nothing special. We have some old desks, a few chairs for visitors, and plenty of paperwork stacked up. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in one of those new glass towers. It’s more of a grit-and-grind type of office. We come in, check our schedules, and start working on whatever engineering projects are on the list for the day. Sometimes we have to head out to sites along the highway, which can be a bit of a trek with the traffic. We don't have a fancy lunchroom; we usually just eat at our desks or go to a local dhaba nearby. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do. We aren't into big marketing or trying to look like something we’re not. We just do the work and try to keep things moving along. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or use the backup generator. It's just part of working here.
