Mistry Engineers

Our spot is up in B-3/502 at The World Spa West in Sector 30 41. Being in Gurugram, we deal with a lot of traffic just getting to the office at Mistry Engineers. It’s a bit of a mix here, part residential and part work, which makes the elevators a bit slow during lunch. We spend most of our time looking at technical drawings or talking on the phone with sites. The view from the fifth floor is alright, mostly other buildings and some trees. It’s quiet enough for us to get our engineering work done without too much noise from the street. We’ve got desks pushed up against the windows and a lot of old files stacked in the corner. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and we have to walk down to the nearby market. It’s not a corporate showroom or anything like that. Just a bunch of us sitting in a flat turned into an office, trying to figure out technical problems. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is good because Gurugram gets incredibly hot in May. We don't have a big reception area or fancy rugs. Visitors usually just knock and find a chair wherever there is space between the rolls of paper. It’s a practical place for Mistry Engineers to run things from. We’ve been at this Haryana address for a good bit now and it feels like home.
