Our shop is tucked away in Shivaji Nagar, right near the Hanuman Mandir. If you know Gurgaon, you know how busy it gets around here. We are at 4/180. It’s a pretty small street and sometimes the traffic makes it hard to get through, but we manage. Most of the guys start early before it gets too hot. We do engineering work, mostly fixing things or putting parts together. It gets noisy with all the tools going, but the neighbors are used to us by now. We usually take our breaks when the temple bells ring. It’s a good landmark for people trying to find us. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we can get our hands dirty and finish the jobs. Sometimes we have to wait on parts to arrive from the main market, which can be a headache with the local roads. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or grease, but that's just part of the work. We’ve been in this spot for a bit. It’s honest work and we try to do it right. Nothing more to say really. Just a bunch of us working hard in Gurgaon. Every morning we open up the shutters and get to it. Sometimes we stay late if a project is stuck. That's just how engineering goes in a place like this. We just keep our heads down and keep working until the sun sets.
