Samrat Marble

Samrat Marble is tucked away near the New Anaj Mandi, just by the chungi on Khandsa Road. It’s a busy spot with trucks and tractors coming through all the time. We’ve got slabs of stone leaning against the walls and stacked up in the yard. It can be a bit of a maze if you don’t know where you’re going. We’ve been here for years, and the ground is covered in stone dust that never really goes away no matter how much we sweep. It’s hard work moving those heavy pieces, and we’ve all got the sore backs to prove it. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of our stone is just sitting out where you can see it in the natural light. Sometimes a piece has a chip or a weird vein, and we just point it out to whoever is looking. We’re pretty honest about what we have on hand. The office is just a small shack with a wooden desk and a few chairs for when customers want to sit and talk about prices. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us because they saw the sign while driving down Khandsa Road or someone told them we were here. It’s a simple business, and we like it that way. We spend the evenings hosing down the slabs to show the colors better for the next morning.
