If you’re looking for us, we’re located at House No. 82 and 83 in Sheetla Colony Phase 2. It’s right across from Gali Number 6, and Ganga Plaza is the big landmark nearby. Shiwalik Tiles & Sanitary Ware is a busy place, especially on weekends when people have time to look at stuff for their homes. The showroom floor is usually covered in a bit of grit because we’re constantly moving heavy boxes of ceramic and porcelain around. Sector 5 can be a bit of a maze if you aren’t from around here, but once you find us, there’s plenty to see. We have rows and rows of tiles leaning against the walls and stacks of sinks that sometimes get in the way of the door. It’s not the quietest shop since there is always someone loading a rickshaw or a truck out front. We try to keep things organized, but when three deliveries arrive at the same time, it gets a bit chaotic. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit, so we know the local contractors and the families moving into the new flats nearby. Most of our day is spent helping people figure out how many boxes they need or looking for a specific tap in the back room. It’s a lot of lifting and counting, but it keeps us busy.
