Our school sits right in the middle of DLF Phase 4, not far from the Galleria Market. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise nearby throughout the day. Ridge Valley School has several units from 4111 to 4122, which makes the layout a bit interesting to walk through every morning when we arrive. Most of the staff here live nearby or commute through the usual Gurgaon congestion. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we just open the doors every morning and get to work. The building is practical. Since we are so close to the market, it’s easy for parents to drop kids off and go about their errands. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans and cooling are actually working. We don't have massive sprawling fields like some places far out of the city, but we use the space we have effectively. There’s a lot of coming and going throughout the day. People usually recognize us by the block numbers. It’s a straightforward place where we try to keep things organized despite the hectic pace outside. Sometimes the printers jam or the gate gets stuck, but that’s just life in a school. We just keep moving along and doing what needs to be done for the students who come here every day. It's a busy, normal life for us.
