High School Lakshmani

Being located in Sec 27 of DLF Phase 4 means we are right in the middle of a lot of activity here at High School Lakshmani. Gurgaon has changed a lot, but this corner stays pretty much the same day to day. We open the doors early when the air is still a bit cool before the traffic picks up. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it does the job. Most of the staff has been here for years, and we know which floorboards creak when you walk on them. We spend a lot of time organizing books and making sure the classrooms are ready. The address in Sector 27 is easy enough to find, though parking can be a bit of a headache for parents dropping kids off. During the lunch break, you can hear the sounds of the city mixing with the noise from the courtyard. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when everyone is out at once. We don’t go in for anything flashy. The furniture is sturdy and old, and the fans hum loudly in the summer heat. It’s just the way it is. We focus on the daily routine, making sure the registers are marked and the lessons are finished. It feels like a small community inside these walls, even with all the big buildings surrounding us in DLF Phase 4. It’s a steady place to be. It is what it is. That works for us.
