We are located in South City 1 in Gurgaon, and it’s a fairly large building that’s been part of the neighborhood for a while. The morning starts early here with the sound of buses pulling into the gates. It’s a bit of a scramble getting all the kids into their classrooms on time, but we usually manage. The playground is right there and gets plenty of use during the lunch hour. You can hear the shouting and playing from the street. Inside, the hallways are often filled with student projects pinned to the boards. Some of the tape is peeling off, but it shows the kids have been busy. The classrooms have big windows, so there's usually enough light coming in. We have a staff room where teachers sit and drink their tea while they talk about the day’s plans. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the bell rings for the end of the day. Traffic in South City 1 can get a bit tight during pick-up hours, so we try to keep the cars moving as quickly as possible. We don’t have a fancy marketing team writing this; it’s just how things are here. We deal with the usual stuff like lost water bottles and messy desks every day. It’s a lively spot for the local kids to spend their time. We just keep the gates open and the lights on, year after year, doing what needs to be done.
